The overall male-female ratio at BIRA-IASB in 2018 was 70% men compared to 30% women and hardly changed over the last decade. This ratio is due to the fact that 90% of the personnel belongs to STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), where we find the same distribution. BIRA-IASB therefore reaches the recommended ratio of at least one third of women.
